Yet a scheduling tool concentrates sensitive data: contact details, reasons for booking, sometimes health information for an insurer or a clinic. Frequently asked questions
Which booking types are supported?
1-1, group, collective and round-robin, with team pages. Each type has its own availability, durations, buffers and qualification questions. Bookings are unlimited, with no quota and no pay-per-use billing.
How do round-robin and routing to the right person work?
Round-robin automatically spreads requests across a team, with weighting to balance the load or favor certain profiles. Routing Forms qualify the visitor upfront (sector, language, nearest branch) and send them to the right person or queue. That is what serves agency networks, call centers and insurance or mutual platforms.
Does it sync with my calendar?
Yes: Google, Office 365, CalDAV and Apple. Sync reads your availability in real time to avoid double bookings, and stays optional if you would rather not connect any external calendar. All white-labelled on your domain.
Are SMS, email and WhatsApp reminders included?
These automatic reminders and confirmations are available as an option, billed at channel cost. Email, SMS and WhatsApp go through third-party sending operators, so you only pay for the channels you enable and the volume actually sent.
Where is the data hosted?
On servers located in Europe, operated by Bunker. Your booking data, contacts and calendar never leave the continent, and none is transferred outside the European Union.
Can I get my data back and bring the service in-house?
Yes, at any time. cal.diy is open source, so the PostgreSQL database exports via pg_dump and you can bring the whole instance back onto your own infrastructure. No proprietary format, no lock-in.
