Configured in exempt mode (no cookies, IP anonymization, data not shared with third parties), Matomo can be used without collecting consent, under the conditions set by the CNIL. You then count 100% of your visits, with no banner.
Is the data hosted in Europe?
Yes. Your Matomo instance and its database are hosted on European servers operated by Bunker. Nothing is transferred outside the European Union.
Can I migrate from Google Analytics?
Yes. Matomo imports your Google Analytics history and offers equivalent reports. You keep campaign, conversion and funnel tracking without starting over.
