Does the data stay in Europe?
Yes. Your Metabase instance is hosted on European servers operated by Bunker.
How do I connect my databases while limiting the risk?
With a dedicated, read-only account limited to the tables you need. The security and backup of your source databases remain your responsibility; the split of responsibilities between you and Bunker is set out in the shared responsibility annex of our General Terms and Conditions of Service.
