Managed Kubernetes

Managed Kubernetes, without the operations

Hand off the operation of your services to a European team. Managed open-source services running on our cluster today, and soon managed Kubernetes namespaces with a self-service console.

Not everyone needs their own cluster. Managed Kubernetes lets you deploy and run your services without managing the underlying infrastructure yourself: we monitor it, keep it up to date and back it up, while you keep control of your applications.

The offer is built in two steps. What is available today: a catalogue of managed open-source software, running on the Bunker cluster. What is coming: managed Kubernetes namespaces and a self-service console to drive the lifecycle of your services yourself.

Early access

Coming soon: managed Kubernetes namespaces and a self-service console

The next step of the managed offer is managed Kubernetes namespaces: your isolated space on a cluster we operate, where you deploy your own workloads with the standard tools of the ecosystem. A self-service console will let you drive the lifecycle of your services without tickets or intermediaries.

This hosted offer is not open yet. It is coming in the next few months [À VALIDER /legal]. In the meantime, join the waitlist to get early access and help us prioritise what you need.

An isolated namespace, standard Kubernetes

You deploy your manifests and Helm charts as on any conformant cluster. No proprietary layer: what you build stays portable.

A console for the lifecycle

Create, update, back up and monitor your services from one interface, without depending on a manual request at each step.

Operated in Europe, sovereign

The cluster that carries your namespaces is hosted in Europe and operated by a European company, with no subcontractor under US jurisdiction, like the rest of our platform.

Frequently asked questions

What is available today in the managed offer?

A catalogue of open-source software that we operate for you on the Bunker cluster: database, forge, observability, analytics, secrets management and more. You consume the service, we handle updates, backups and availability. The managed Kubernetes namespaces offer, however, is not open yet.

When will managed Kubernetes namespaces be available?

In the coming months. We do not commit to a firm date until it is confirmed. Join the waitlist to be notified at launch and to get early access.

How does this differ from dedicated Kubernetes?

With dedicated Kubernetes, you get a whole cluster reserved for your organisation, on dedicated hardware. With the managed offer, you share a cluster we operate and you consume services or namespaces: it is lighter to start, with no infrastructure to manage. Dedicated targets control and isolation; managed targets operational simplicity.

Does my data stay sovereign?

Yes. The managed services and the future namespaces run on infrastructure hosted in Europe and operated by a European company, with no subcontractor under US jurisdiction. Your data stays under French and European law (GDPR).

Our team is small, isn't Kubernetes overkill?

Kubernetes is not overkill for a small team as long as someone else operates it. The real question is not the size of your team but who carries the operations: with the managed offer, you get the portability and resilience of Kubernetes without carrying its complexity, with monitoring and updates handled for you. You pay a predictable flat rate rather than committing a full-time operations role.
